Given the later question, just to be sure, "rebuilt" includes all of:

buildworld
buildkernel
installkernel
installworld

(installs included, not just builds)?

What specific commit and commit date was your git at?

Was filemon loaded into the kernel for WITH_META_MODE to use?

(Note: WITH_META_MODE only contributes to the buildworld and buildkernel
activities as far as I know.)
