With the SSD, I get the crash loop in the 20201224 U-Boot, even *with* the latest RPI firmware copied over to the DOS partition. The output is more or less the same but with a couple of additions: "Card did not respond to voltage select!" "USB is stopped. Please issue 'usb start' first."
