Re: ntpd vs ntpdate with no hardware clock

I created fakertc for my rpi4. 

https://www.freshports.org/sysutils/fakertc/

Saves the time on shutdown and sets it back early at boot.

Plus I use ntpdate together with ntpd. Works fine.
