Lenovo X13s hits mountroot> with a 15.0-CURRENT snapshot

Hello,

Does anyone have experience with the Lenovo X13s "snapdragon"?

I am trying a 15.0-CURRENT snapshot "memstick" installer and 
consistently hit mountroot>, and sadly it does not allow keyboard entry 
at the prompt, even with an external USB keyboard.

It sees the NVMe drive and thinking out loud... losing keyboard may mean 
that I am also losing the USB drive that I loaded the kernel from.

Any suggestions?
