I have re-tested this bug this morning running 14.3-RELEASE and it appears to
be fixed.  If I switch from the X11 session to a different virtual terminal and
then back to X11, xdriinfo reports that the crocus accelerated driver is still
loaded.
I note that I have procfs mounted.
