Well it sounds like bullshit but there are "morally advertised" laws like
that with "hidden" business and control / domination agendas beneath. There
was that once great country that imposed such laws. Are kids over there
more safe? How about women? Did criminal statistics go up or down? Maybe
all people are just silenced not to tell what is really going on? Except
those making use of this situation?

Another example, we just barely blocked the "internet censorship" aka EU
DSA (Digital Services Act) that allowed selected group of people to remove
content and fine/jail anyone as they please outside a legal court system!!
Sounds like Ministry of Truth right?

They now try to get "inside" the OS that is the infrastructure and consumer
end nodes.

Narrative is the same, "protect children" (see discussed "age
verification"), "hate speech", or "illegal content". Not in terms of legal
reason like copyright / ip infringement, but arbitrary decision of selected
group of people backed by arbitrary rulings not even always legal acts
which sounds more like tyranny rather than rule of law.

In other words. Some group of people have an agenda. They enforce the
agenda using government. Whatever government do is legal. Thus it is
illegal to disagree.
