 I am currently using the ORiNOCO card on this machine. For more details

 I'm thinking something simpler, like an option I left out of the kernel or
the way I'm starting pccardd. FWIW, booting with GENERIC didn't help, and
the pccardd line looks like:

pccardd -f /etc/defaults/pccard.conf

Any ideas?
