Cards that functioned with earlier Current

Yesterday I cvsuped to current on a Compaq EVO N800c.
Earlier I had a Toshiba Tecra 9000 with current as of
somewhere in September. With this current my CardBus
3Com/Megahertz 3CCFE575BT worked like a charm, but
now when I insert the card in the Compaq it promptly
panics, and the machine reboots.
