Sony VAIO PCG-GRX650 cbb0 Unsupported card type detected

okay it seems a 5.2-BETA kernel from January 8, 2004 works great for my
laptop and the pcmcia slots have been fine. So i update to CURRENT today
and uhhh 

Unsupported card type detected
