I reported this independently in the drm-kmod GitHub project as
https://github.com/freebsd/drm-kmod/issues/302.  Going to also cross-link this
PR there.

I'd really like to get to the bottom of this.  However, I don't plan to have
the time to do so before end of month at the very least.

drm-61-kmod exhibits the same problem.  However, drm-510-kmod works fine for
me.
