the reason why the discussion would have been useful because the addition of
xlibre adds an extra burden for each shared component between xorg and xlibre
which considering the number of people actively working on those component is
not neutral.

and from the technical stand point: from what I could look at in the history,
some changes are not making me confident about xlibre right now.

I also think we could have discussed the way xlibre should cohabit with xorg
and probably take the opportunity to cleanup some things.
