--- Comment #11 from Tomoaki AOKI <[email protected]> ---
(In reply to Jesús Daniel Colmenares Oviedo from comment #10)
I don't object for FLAVORization if both Xorg implementation and XLibre
implementation of X11 server can sanely coexist in single installation,
selectable, i.e., via libmap or alike on startup. But currently XLibre
conflicts with Xorg implementation.

(Some, especially clusteradm and portmgr, could still object, though, with the
aspect of server resources.)

In this conflicting case, I believe DEFAULT_VERSIONS better fits, like early
Xorg vs former XFree86. TBH, at the moment, USES framework and DEFAULT_VERSIONS
framework were not implemented yet, so IIRC more tricky way.

And I think admins who want XLibre NOW would be early adopters, so building by
themselves wouldn't (usually, not always, though) matter.

Anyway, more eyeballs / opinions / discussion are wanted.
Meanwhile, any commits outside XLibre should be reverted (reapplied when
concluded to use FLAVORs, otherwise, reinplemented WRT the decision). I'm
pending working on nvidia driver ports 580.119.02 until the revert is done or
decision is made to use FLAVOR.
