https://bugs.freebsd.org/bugzilla/show_bug.cgi?id=291760 --- Comment #6 from Chris Petrik <[email protected]> --- it gets very frustrating that my video issues aren't because of driver issues but because of a incompetent committer who just took my patch glanced at it and just said well nothing changed then I have to go through look at linux git logs and then look at dmesg to prove the patch is valid. When in reality most if not all people will change things on new releases thats like saying Microsoft release 24H2 but no changes the download size in 2gigs but you know nothing changed. I can imagine how many people had video issues and left FreeBSD and it was due to a commiter that just said oh well nothing changed for 11 months and releases were just released with the same files in place. I took the time to investigate isolate and debug my video card issues and the only reason why I figured is becuase my Linux machine had a newer firmware and the machine would not crash and truth be hold I was right. So i go and create a patch to the best of my ability to have it closed in 15 seconds for "Nothing has changed in 11 months" which is just utter garbage really. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are the assignee for the bug.
