We are currently seeking a *Senior Unix/​Linux Network Engineer* for
our *Wauconda,
IL* office.​*  *Primary responsibilities include the administration and
upkeep of network services and Open Source servers.

*Responsibilities:*

   - Maintains FreeBSD & Linux servers.
   - Maintains Websphere 6.​1 ND on AS/​400 platform in a vertical clustered
   environment.
   - Performs Cisco networking.
   - Resolves Websphere systems related problems.
   - Implements shell scripts for Linux maintenance.

*Qualifications:*

   - Minimum
   5 years experience in Senior Administration role and B.​S.​ in Computer
   Science; or equivalent combination of experience and education is
   required.
   - Solid, varied experience with 2-3 of the following technologies: Linux,
   AS/​400, Websphere ND 6.​1, and/​or Cisco is necessary.
   - Must have experience with tier 3 support for all 3 platforms.
   - Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment with a small group of
   highly focused individuals.
   - Must be a self-starter and able to work with minimal direction.
   - Excellent communication, organization, and follow-up skills required.
   - Candidates will demonstrate command line skills on laptop (provided).
