The instructions are wrong: FreeBSD no longer uses mailman but the
information about the list has never been updated at gmane.io . FreeBSD
uses Mlmmj these days.

If you are already subscribed to the list in question, just reply to
gmane's Email to indicate that status. After that is processed, you will
not get more such notices for that list.
