In the message sequence that I sent, of which those two are part, there
was a prior message that never showed up on the list: the first one of
the sequence. It was sent Date:Sun, 4 Jan 2026 21:15:58 -0800. Note how
all the messages in that sequence on the list have "Re:" in the subject.
The first message did not.

I have recently sent out 3 independent messages:

Subject: Test with only Newsgroup
Date:Sun, 11 Jan 2026 06:56:48 -0800
Not delivered after over 2 hrs

Subject: Test with Newgroup and To, To not being to the newsgroup
Date:Sun, 11 Jan 2026 06:58:27 -0800
To: was delivered almost immediately
Newsgroup: not delivered after over 2 hrs

Subject: Test with Newsgroup and To, both being to the list
Date:Sun, 11 Jan 2026 06:59:35 -0800
Both: was delivered almost immediately

All 3 show up in Sent. None show up in Outbox.

It does seem that logs may be the only way to see more about what is
happening for such.

I do have list exchanges helping folks where I would not want a 0.5hr
latency in the message going out: Other people some times read and help
as well. Delaying their reading would not be good.
