Hi all, For a time now, different requests from users have shown different limitations of the current scheme of the xkeyb driver. There's no way to go beyond and patch it so that it can satisfy the requests. Therefore, I have collected many requests from users, in order to try and rewrite the driver, so that some of the 'x' stuff would be preserved from the code, and optionally loaded. I have written a document collecting many requirements so far, and have many others saved for future versions. The document is still open to additions and modifications. So if you have complains about xkeyb, or wishes, please do let me know so that I do not repeat them in the FreeDOS KEYB 2.0 project. Those wishes that are short-term reasonable will be included. Those which aren't may be left for future versions. I have put up a page (thanks to Simon Waite!) collecting all the information about the forthcomming FD-KEYB 2.0, and also about other useable drivers, such as xkeyb, mkeyb and freekeyb. You can visit it at: http://projects.freedos.net/keyb/ Cheers! Aitor
