Me parece buena idea, porque además de acelerar el proceso, unifica conceptos 
y definiciones. Así, todos usaríamos las mismas palabras. Además, hasta donde 
sé, no existe un repositorio libre de TMX.

Otras herramientas: OmegaT+ (es una bifurcación de OmegaT; yo solía 
traducirla, así que la usé bastante y sé que está buena), Virtaal, Pootle 
(web), Lokalize (de KDE SC)...
