This is a multi-part message in MIME format. --------------C0B2790A6E1E924D00998243 Content-Type: text/plain; charset=utf-8; format=flowed Content-Transfer-Encoding: 8bit Hi, A polar bear mascot is a double-edged sword: close to us because it's a mammal, but also a wild carnivorous animal humans are better off carefully avoiding... :/ I liked the idea of the robot much better. Several animation films for children have featured friendly robot characters, so with an appropriate graphical design, a robot mascot could be appealing to a very wide audience. It would reflect the fact that, among the 3 BSD, NetBSD is certainly the most embedded-friendly, which is IMO very important in terms of differentiation.
