Some packages use tools not mentioned there but present in NetBSD base system, such as 'dig' (PR 38703), 'ping', 'uuencode', 'ps' http://mova.org/~cheusov/pub/pkgsrc-distbb/Linux/current-destdir/logs/20090227.2003/databases_mysql5-client_mysql-client-5.0.67nb2/stage_configure.html etc. Unfortunately pkgsrc doesn't provide a way to isolate tools from the NetBSD base system (which is very big) from tools really essential for building packages.
