Yes, if I remove MAKE_JOBS=16 from my /etc/mk.conf, it builds.
In pkgsrc, we can mark packages with "MAKE_JOBS_SAFE=no" and the
pkgsrc infrastructure will not try parallel compilation.

It seems the chicken Makefiles do not contain all interdependencies,
that's an upstream bug... are you upstream? :)
