You have to try with USE_DESTDIR=yes in /etc/mk.conf.

I fixed it a few minutes ago, though.

Just add a line
LICENSE=	mit
below the COMMENT line, that should be fine.
The license line is for people or organizations who don't want
particular kinds of licenses for some or another reason.
