Hi Steve,

Thank you so much for sharing the results of your experiments and
findings with the RPi4 and the UEFI firmware! It has been very helpful
for me to better understand the subject.

I think it would be great to include this kind of information on the WEB
for new users who want to install NetBSD on the RPi4. A dedicated
chapter just for the RPi4—covering all the installation methods, with
sample commands—would be excellent. It could also include details about
what works, what doesn’t, and other useful notes.

For example, it would also help to have some hints on how to get the
camera working. I have it running on the RPi Zero W, but I’m not sure if
it works on the RPi4—I haven’t tested it yet. I remember it required
changing something in config.txt and placing a start_x.elf file in /boot
(if I recall correctly from my not-so-great memory). I spent hours
searching, and in the end, it was quite simple once I knew the right steps.

Adding all this information could save users a lot of time, and they’d
end up with a working system with minimal effort. Otherwise, they might
quickly return to Raspberry Pi OS, missing the opportunity to try
something different that actually works.

Just my thoughts—I'm no expert, just a very average user.

Best regards,
Ramiro
