Curiously, my 6.99.40 kernel works quite well with the 6.99.43 userland. So, there's likely another problem with 6.99.43, but it takes an up-to- date userland to trigger it? I've started a matrix of kernel vs. userland interoperability. I suppose once I've found the point at which the kernel fails before going multiuser, I'll back up and find the point at which the TLB miss traps start to happen. -- |/"\ John D.
