Last year my hp425t PSU was dead, but recently I've repaired it (replacing all "quaternary salt" electrolyte capacitors) and it works again with NetBSD/hp300 9.0: https://dmesgd.nycbug.org/index.cgi?do=view&id=5438 Now I replace its HDD with 15000rpm Seagate Cheetah ST336754LC with SCA80 to narrow50 adapter: > wsmouse0 at hilms0 mux 0 > sd0 at scsibus0 target 0 lun 0: <SEAGATE, ST336754LC, 0005> disk fixed > sd0: 35003 MB, 50824 cyl, 2 head, 705 sec, 512 bytes/sect x 71687372 sectors > sd0: async, 8-bit transfers Some notes for NetBSD/hp300 9.0: - A partition editor in sysinst is something wrong as it doesn't create a boot partition as before to store LIF bootloader - Upgrade installation (i.e. no partitioning) works fine. - Xorg server (on topcat of hp425t) just works. Have fun, --- Izumi Tsutsui
