Try with the latest 4.x - there were some big changes in 5.x that broke the kernel on certain old hardware - 486DLC, NexGen; this does not matter for you but the boot loader may also have changed. It might still be able to load a newer kernel though, so if it gives you the boot prompt you can swap disk if possible and let it boot the newer kernel from there? /Eirik
