Hi Frank!!! I'm doing a lot of test about this problem (in a very very long afternoon...). With autonegotiation or 1000baseTX full / half duplex, I have not any problem. If I try to force in file /etc/ifconfig.stge0 the parameters "media 100baseTX" and "ifconfig ... media 100baseTX" I have the kernel panic. Durig other test emerged other strange behaviours, but I have not finished. Hope tomorrow I can be more detailed. Are you configured for autonegotiation, or what? The lan card on your pc is a gigabit ethernet? Follows more detailed report of my tests...!!! Thanks and bye. 2012/2/14 Frank Wille <[email protected]>: > On Tue, 14 Feb 2012 11:07:18 +0100 > Frank Wille <[email protected]> wrote: > >> I can try again with my G600 and a recent kernel this evening. > > G600, 5.99.64 kernel and userland.
