Known problem, the MIPS-specific module loader in XFree86 is quite  
broken. It works in Xorg though. Also, wsfb on crmfb doesn't currently  
work anyway - wsfb expects a linear framebuffer which crmfb does not  
provide - it uses CRIME's native tiled format. You can use  
experimental X binaries from
ftp://ftp.netbsd.org/pub/NetBSD/misc/macallan/sgimips/
which provide quite a bit of hardware acceleration ( including  
xrender ) but still have some glitches. So far I didn't get around to  
fix that properly.
