Hi George,

Sorry if I don't recall correctly, but did that broken mezzanine board  
work with 4.0 recently? It's possible that we're not initializing it  
properly since 5.0 includes some extra code to make the mezzanine's  
HPC3 go. Perhaps there are some differences between revisions of the  
board or some other programmatic reason as to why it doesn't work.

If it's easy to confirm that it doesn't work in 4.0 and, preferably,  
IRIX, that'd be useful information. Though since it works and you're  
probably the only one using this stuff, it's definitely not a high- 
priority item ;)

Regarding the SGI diagnostics, I've heard that they are far from  
flawless and I really doubt they'd test expansion boards (possibly  
including the entire mezzanine).
