I dunno how easy it would be to do, but maybe try running 9.3 and see
what happens?  To do a proper A/B comparison, you could boot 9.3
diskless and boot 10 diskless, see if there's a stability difference?

You implied you had an NFS setup; would it be difficult to turn that
into a full diskless-boot setup?  Suns are quite good about doing the
client side of diskless booting in my experience....
