I hate it when that happens.  Tantalums of that vintage are definitely =
something to look out for, but it=E2=80=99s not often that they go on a =
5V rail, I=E2=80=99ve seen it much more often on 12V rails (usually =
because someone was trying to save a few pennies and using 16V-rated =
caps).

I recently acquired a Quadra 610 (with a full 68040, not the LC, woo!) =
and it=E2=80=99s filled with with surface-mount electrolytics.  None of =
them appear to be leaking, but they all gotta go because they=E2=80=99re =
from the Totally Horrible Capacitors era (I guess I=E2=80=99ll replace =
them with SMT ceramics =E2=80=A6 I just hate doing surface-mount =
soldering, so I=E2=80=99m procrastinating :-)
