Slight update, my good, working linux box initally shows the MAC address
of the Sun3 in response to an arp command, but that changes to an
<incomplete> once the interface goes poof. Also, I'm not sure if I
mentioned this before, but going to /etc/rc.d and doing a network stop and
a network start fixes the problem, if only for a couple more minutes.
