In my case, it consistently fails to find the CMD controller when I boot from disk but it does find the controller when I netboot. Disk booting did work with older versions of NetBSD (3.1 and 5.0). If you can netboot your machine, it would be interesting to know if the kernel does then find the CMD card. George
