They can damn well not promise that which they cannot provide. If they
say a few days, it should bloody well not be a few weeks or months.

Again, irrelevant to this users needs. Free software development
should not be an excuse for dodgy response times to complaints. How
long does it take to write out a check and cancel an order?

This guy has ordered a hardware device, it has taken months for him to
basically never have it materialize onto his desk, with what would
appear to be no correspondence coming to him, in stark contrast to his
requests to be updated on the ETA. But when he does get ETA's, he is
told "days" but then again waits weeks.

So you think Leevon is full of malice? I think he has a right to expect
realistic, honest responses and the expectation of a timely refund could
never be considered beyond reasonable.

Leevon has my sympathies.

My Soekris hardware purchases will come from Soekris.

I, also prefer my own OpenBSD/Net4501 development.
