I'm referencing the PDC manual from HP, "PA-RISC 1.1 I/O Firmware Architecture Reference Specification", Version 1.0, Aug 22 2001. Go to http://h21007.www2.hp.com/dev/, click in left hand menu "technical resources", click in middle menu beneath "technical documentation" item "references and manuals" and there scroll down to headline "pa-risc". Click on "pa-risc 1.1 I/O firmware architecture reference specification" and you get to the manuals i reference. Especially for the documentation for PDC_SYSMAP fetch item 4. on that page, "4. PDC Procedures PDF 304 KB" and you'll find on pp 4-78 the related documentation and the naming of the arguments. In the same document on pp 4-24 you'll find the reason for renaming one of the PDC_CHASSIS constants. hellmuth -- Hellmuth Michaelis Hamburg, Europe hm\at\kts\dot\org www.kts.org a duck is like a bicycle because they both have two wheels except the duck (tl)
