problems running nmap

Has anyone else tried running nmap (http://insecure.org) on openbsd hppa?  I 
am running the snapshot

I have tried nmap 3.0, and 3.2.  With 3.0, I get the message that any host I 
scan is down, when they are actually up.  I can ping the host using ping.  I 
also am getting the "/bsd: ie0: receive descriptors out of sync at 60" syslog 
messages that others have reported on this list.

With 3.2, nmap dumps core after several seconds.

My only thought is that the same ethernet driver problems that cause the 
receive descriptors out of sync message are causing problems with nmap.  Is 
this the assumption of others?  What's the likelyhood that the driver will 
get some love in the near future?  I'm afraid I've never done bsd kernel 
devel, and my c is pretty weak anyhow, so I'm sure no one wants to run a 
driver I write. :)
