i suppose those are external devices or do you have some funky 712
w/ a cdrom hole cut through?
in the that case 712 is not made for more than one internal scsi device.
try external cdrom or a network boot (that is also easy ;).

i suppose this means you have an ether or and ether+com additional
card installed.
assuming you are going to use ie0 for installing (for now)
try disabling ie1 in UKC?
which means booting w/ "boot scsi.4 isl" and the at the boot>
prompt saying "-c<enter>" and then at the UKC> prompt saying
"disable ie1<enter>quit<enter>". then it should procede w/ autoconf.

if you feel adventerous -- try switching ot serial console.
then it might be easier to see your console outputs.
btw. are you using fresh snapshot as well?
