The item you have listed there isn't a LocalTalk bridge, it is a
Localtalk tranceiver. It will allow you to connect this machine to an
existing LocalTalk network (the photo shows a "PhoneNet" style --
kinda curious that they say "brands may vary", and I don't believe
Apple ever embraced the "Localtalk over flat wire" of PhoneNet.
Apple's Localtalk was a shielded twisted pair. Gee, didn't know
people were still selling that stuff, wonder how much of it I have
left). You would still need a LocalTalk to Ethernet bridge
elsewhere. They exist, I have at least one, probably two even. 8)
Don't know that I've ever seen "IP over LocalTalk"...don't know of any
reason why it couldn't be done, just don't recall seeing it before.
HOWEVER OpenBSD does not support localtalk networking on the mac68k
platform, the serial ports are just treated as, well, serial ports.
Could Localtalk code be added? Sure. Is it there? No.

No localtalk adapter. huh...sl0, sl1...well, guess you COULD do a
SLIP. Ick. Don't think I'd want to mount a partition for regular use
that way.
