Before I had OpenBSD, or an ether interface, in my LC575, I ran
mac68k/linux on the box.
I mounted my home dir over a slip line to my desktop. That was kind of
neat at the time: it requires 3 different cables to get it going:
8pin mac serial <-> null modem <-> 15pin serial
It had bandwidth of around 4k, and the cable held together with rubber
bands. I was so happy when it worked :)
Those were the days.
