If you can figure out a way for the machine to boot and run without FPU 
emulation and without an FPU installed, then the Installer issue can be 
overcome with SoftFPU.  I know this from actual experience on a 60LC040 
(FPU-less) system.  The installer, being a MacOS application, can be 
successfully run without an FPU under SoftFPU.  Of course SoftFPU can't 
help once the OpenBSD boot process begins.
