I think we are drifting here far away.

I think that a machine should be considered "fully sopported" if what is
there works. And this is the case of the old powerbook.
Partial support may mean it boots, but onboard ethernet or onboard video
aren't supported. Broken if it is unusable.

Of course if network is broken for an entire class of machines then the
problem is more serious.
