Hi, I've been having problems with my ethernet on my Quadra 660av, using the onboard ethernet (MACE mc0). The computer is able to recieve a address via DHCP, but then after that it suddenly can't 'hear' any network traffic unless it's in promisc mode. The ethernet works, I've tried it in MacOS without a problem. I've checked and double checked the routing tables, the mygate, hostname.if entries and done everything the INSTALL document mentions, with no avail. I found another mention of this in the newgroup in 2001, I have pasted it below. No one responded to the problem. If anyone can help me I would really appreciate it.
