It does compile and work just fine on 3.6-current i386 from last weekend. I'd compiled X on mac68k-current (25 Dec), but I hadn't updated the XF source tree from 3.6-release... I didn't think there'd been any changes, though I didn't look real hard. X is working, but I got an incorrect X library version trying to install openmotif from the snapshot packages. So instead of sinking any time into troubleshooting that, I figured I'd better get X and the rest of my system within a couple weeks of each other. Looking back at the cvs log, though, only 1 file changed in the XF3 tree, and my initial reaction was that that should not cause a library version bump. Are the m68k packages built on a system that uses XF4? Or does mac68k use parts of the xc tree as well as xc-old? Frank
