With one bit per pixel. Most of the HW I have, the monitor tells the computer what it can do, and MacOS (or more accurately, as it happens before boot, the ROM) sets the resolution accordingly. I loved that box. yep. Got a Q610 myself. Works well... Quadra 650 is probably most popular with developers, and my Quadra 840av is wickedly un-pathetically slow (no, just couldn't get myself to say "fast" there. It isn't fast). My Quadra 900 takes up way too much space. Nick.
