Actually I get it very accurrate,

There is a whole community interested in SMP, I'm sure some people
are programmers, some of them even familiar with SMP issues, as I am.
I'm sure people are doing great things, but nobody nowsabout it.
i.e. I've managed to successfuly configure (with a little code work) the
newest
Adaptec Raid ASR2200S which is not supported by OpenBSD.

Second thing is, that the community can give some pressure to core
developers
to do something about the community's needs. Talking is enought, they surely
see it.

Third thing is that open source gives You oportunity to do something about
Your needs.
If You do it is up to You.
