:) Interesting metod of coding :) Actually I dont, but i can do it for you I'm running late version OpenBSD3.0 with SMP, I can do diff comparition do OpenBSD3.0 But I think more usefull woul'd be diff between 3.1 and SMP3.1 ? Michal Michal, Do you have a diff of the various files that were changed from single to SMP on your research machine? It would be informative to know where to begin looking at the code. Also, at the moment I'm wading through "Design and Implementation of 4.4BSD", so it would be nice to compare. Thanks for your help, -----Original Message----- From: Michal Koc [mailto:[email protected]] Sent: Wednesday, September 11, 2002 1:09 PM To: [email protected] Subject: smp dev I'd rather encourage people to research than discourage, but I must agree that it's a hard rock to bite. I'm also looking forward to see SMB on OpenBSD/i386. Actually I have two research machines running SMP on OpenBSD (from cvs, ,an old version), but I'd never decide to rum experimental SMP code on production machines, so I'll probably use FreeBSD, or some other SMP system, though I hate it. I'd love to see all of my machines running OpenBSD. Michal
