Well I got the install up and running an have my netra X1 running openBSD.

In the install.sparc64 file in mentions applying the latest firmware patch
for openbsd to run. the firmware on the box is from 2001 and the latest is
2003.
I have download the patch file from sun (111952-03) and the file is a shell
script that contains an encoded file, which is a shell script with another
enocode file.
in the end I get the tar file that is double encoded and contains
flashprom.64bit, flashprom.32bit and obp_image.

from reading the scripts the flashprom files are drivers for sun's OS and
the other file is the firmware image.

any suggestions on how to flash the netra X1 firmware from openBSD?

I have played around with these steps and tried to boot the image file with
no luck, should this work with the obp_image file?

Thanks
