Here is what I have tried and in the order that I tried it.

1. Rebuilt the generic 4.8 kernel on the Blade 150 with the
if_ral_pci.c revision 1.17.  Result = Hang
2. Removed ral card and installed in a x86 box running openbsd 4.5.
Result = works fine (Hardware is good)
3. Installed 4.8 on x86 box. Result = works fine
4. Moved ral card back to Blade 150, installed 4.6.  Result = works fine.

At this point it looks like what ever is broken on sparc64 is
something other than the changes to the driver for the ral card.
