Heya folks.
Considering the relatively large volume of spam received by www@ (1 email
is too much, :]) I was wondering what mechanisms are in place. Partly out
of curiosity and partly to lessen my spam trashing workload.
I am mildly aware of some issues relating to filtering and was wondering:
Do senders need to register to post to www@? I had to register but maybe
this was only for reception.
Is it difficult to examine credentials of submitters before they can submit?
That is, have perhaps a wait whilst the email address, etc., are verified.
I guess this is dependent on the volume of 'people' that register at domo.
I don't know enough about email or the list to make statements about what
ought to happen. I am willing to put some time into helping out if there
is a workable, energy effective (better than the current situation)
solution.
Cheers,
David Walker
