Hello, I've been dabbling with unices for more than 10 years now, and many of them with FreeBSD. Over the years, I never did an install of OpenBSD because of lack of time/interest/necessity. But when I learned that version 4.0 would boot from a CD on an SGI O2 (R5000), I decided to give it a go, and try it also on my old SparcStation 20. The old toaster got revived, and it was, hands down, the easiest installs I have ever made. I was elated. I immediately bought a t-shirt... :) I'd rather have an installer that works over a serial console. It is just fast, and you don't have to worry about what kind of emulation you are under. Leave it like that, please. -- # Bruno Gallant - [email protected] - [email protected] - http://www.imageine.com
